Where are you gonna put that?

Honestly, If someone else asks me that question again......I'll just go off on them!!  Seriously, don't ya just get sick of it??
Iam gonna put it where I want to put it alright??  aaarrrgggghhhh!!!!!!!
This old door was a roadside find.  I finally got around to doing something with it.  I painted it pale blue and white, well, more like a whitewashed effect.  Hung 4 hooks on the sides, added a shelf painted the same blue, hung a double hook in the middle top to hang stuff on.  It is holding this wood and iron thingie at the moment.  I have a small table Iam working on sanding and painting that I will be attaching to the bottom for more shelving and to make it freestanding.  My old wicker planter and wreaths are filling the spot temporarily.  Iam posting this for Show and Tell Friday @ Cindy's.

  1. My hubs does that to me a lot. I love stalking Goodwill for stuff and have been compiling things to redo the kid's bathroom (this weekend, hooray!!)and a few other projects. But he still just KEEPS ASKING! It's so aggrivating!

  2. Oh My Gosh!! Has my husband been talking to you too? I get soooo tired of hearing that! I'm glad you kept it, it looks great!!

  3. I've heard that from people too, but I've learned not everyone is as CrEaTiVe as the next person and those that aren't, sometimes just don't see the 'BEAUTY' that we see! All I can say is 'Keep On Keeping On'! I looove your door! Debbie @ Cottage Hann~Me~Downs

  4. Yep, same here.I get that, too...You did a great job on that.I never see pretty stuff like that door curbside!GREAT find!!!

  5. Very cool! I LOVE old doors! (and windows as you know from my blog!) lol I really like what you've done with this one. It's very sweet!
Thanks for linking up! Have a blessed day and keep finding good stuff...if you love it, you'll find somewhere to put it no matter what anyone says. :) LOL

  6. OH, that IS the same china as you have! My mom gave me her whole set and then a friend of hers had a set and gave it to me too. I think I have a service for 16....I have it EVERYWHERE! I even have the teapot, sugar, creamer, salt & Pepper, butter dish and gravyboat. They loaded me down! lol (and I love each and every piece) My grandpa got my mom most of what she had by buying gasoline. If you got a fill up you got a piece of china...imagine how much gas it took to get all those pieces! wow! I wish they still did cool stuff like that now. :)

  9. That must be a husband thing to ask Where ya gonna put that? My husband tells me that every Saturday after yard saling and Goodwill thrifting.........my standard answer, don't worry about it.......you will see when its in its place.
I do anymore though for everything I bring into the house I try to get rid of something. No matter if it is a small something, like a tupperware bowl!! LOL

  10. I could find plenty of places for it. I just smile at the nay sayers cause I know when it is finishe they will eat their words!!! It is lovely! Visiting from funky Junk

  11. LOL!!! You are so right about people asking that STUPID question! Or the other one I get a lot after I've made something... "But what do you DO with it?" Are you freaking kidding me??!!

    Love the door decor!!

  12. Love the colors! It looks great with the wicker table. Hope you have a great weekend!~ Stephanie Lynn
