Has the give-a-way for the metal bottle basket been awarded? Who won?
I have been searching all over, but, I can't even remember who's give-a-way it was!!
When I was a little girl, I would pick weeds, (I thought they were flowers), all clinched in my fist, I would give them to my mother, in a vase the little weeds would live, until.. It made me feel good inside. As an adult, I still pick weeds, by picking ugly or castoff item's and creating something nice and useful. It still makes me feel good inside.

UPDATES
I promised to show updated photos of my mantel and table setting.
I used bed springs and made ornaments for place settings, I printed some of the Graphics Fairy's Madonna and Jesus prints on sheet music for place mats, only on top of the plates. The silverware and glasses will be in another location, until we are ready to eat. The plates are all mismatched and all white. The centerpiece is an outdoor trellis wrapped with silver twig garland.
This guy I found at Goodwill a few months ago and I deco-podged with an old Shakespeare book and music paper, then blinged him up.
A side view of my updated mantel. I added the aluminum branches and the mercury glass, and decorated the little lights.
Hope you like!!! Thanks for stopping by!!

BONKERS
Let me just say my bloggeroo's, that I am totally and complely
bonkers at this stage of the game. I am looking around and thinking,
I need to do this, or, I need to finish that! I am hosting the Christmas
dinner for my family this year, and, although we split between my sister and Mom and myself, the cooking, its still the cleaning and pretty-fying and such
that is making me nuts!

I have been wanting one of these vintage Christmas trees for a while,
and, I finally bought one off of e-bay. I have had it up since before Thanksgiving,
as I wanted to make sure all of the pieces were there. It looks a lot better in person, really!
I have been so absorbed with all neutrals lately, till Iam beginning to think its a sickness. Yea, thanks ladies, for that!
I'll be back later with pictures of my table setting, and updated mantel.
