I posted about my old door in another post, after I had worked on it a little, but, not finished. Here she is all finished! I added a few thingies to the hooks and hung and old vintage pediment to the top. I took an old vintage demi lune table and cut off the back legs, and attached it with screws. I also added the shelf to the middle, painted her all out, and ta da! Here she is!! I like her!!
BTW>>>Please ignore the green paint, I took this pic in my foyer of the OLD house that we just moved to..the renters...well...I need to paint..AGAIN!!!
When I was a little girl, I would pick weeds, (I thought they were flowers), all clinched in my fist, I would give them to my mother, in a vase the little weeds would live, until.. It made me feel good inside. As an adult, I still pick weeds, by picking ugly or castoff item's and creating something nice and useful. It still makes me feel good inside.

This is sooooo cool! I have an old barn door, and I'm trying to decide what to do with it. Something like this would be awesome! Thanks for the wonderful inspiration :-)

What a great idea that was, it looks gorgeous! My FIL just made a headboard for their bed out of an old door and now my MIL wants him to turn one into a hall tree. I'll have to show this to her next time I see her, she's be so impressed:)
