More Changes and Makings

I get really bored, really fast...so I changed my mantel around, yet again!  I strung clock faces on brown velvet ribbon and hung them on shutters, I filled an iron cache pot with my cross collection,
This is the other side of the mantel.  Mercury glass, silver plated urn filled with feathers, I attached webbing to an empty frame and attached a few things with small clothe's pins, and a re-print of the Sistine Madonna.  (please ignore the lighter, I did not see it while I was taking the pic)
The whole mantel in one shot.  Not sure of the wing up there,  what do you think?  Any suggestions for that spot?????
One of my drop cloth covered and stenciled chairs, and 2 dropcloth pillows.  Is dropcloth one word, or two?????
I made the wreath with a form and jute webbing!!  I LOVE that stuff!!  This wall is full of my white mirrors.  More to come....Stay Tuned!!

  1. Everything looks so pretty Rhonda. I love your vingettes and the way everything works together so beautifully.

  2. Hey girly! :) Your mantel is lookin' good!
I hear ya about the pantry...I have food in mine, but my fridge is needing me to go to the grocery in a bad way. We had SO many bills this paycheck, that I'm trying to just hold out till the next one. :) My son is going to college and we had to buy his books this week....$400.00!!!! (for four books..yikes!) Not to mention how much it's going to cost for the classes themselves. School costs are ridiculous! :-/ Anywho! I hope you'll pop in tomorrow when I reveal my pantry. (I still have things I'm going to do to it, but it looks about a MILLION times better than it did!)
    Missy :)

  3. Everything looks really pretty. You did a great job.

  4. Oh Rhonda, what sweet comments you made on my pantry and Lincoln...but I didn't mean to make you cry! :) (but I did cry writing it...AND every time I watch the video!) :) Lincoln is a beautiful soul....with a heart of pure gold.
Sounds like your pantry has as many wild colors in it as mine! LOL I couldn't take mine anymore...it felt like a dungeon every time I opened the doors. Now when I open them I sigh...ahhh. :)
Have a great day my sweet friend...I'm SO glad you're back..I missed you. :)

  5. Hello Rhonda, I'm a new follower from Mel's Cabin blog. Your drop cloth has given me an idea for a quilt job I'm working on for my husband's grandmother's chair. I think I'll quilt a drop cloth! So unique that would be.
Visit Mel's Cabin when you're in the neighborhood and enjoy a sip of coffee with me.

Please let me know you were here, So that I don't feel like a bug!
