When I was a little girl, I would pick weeds, (I thought they were flowers), all clinched in my fist, I would give them to my mother, in a vase the little weeds would live, until.. It made me feel good inside. As an adult, I still pick weeds, by picking ugly or castoff item's and creating something nice and useful. It still makes me feel good inside.

Embellished Vintage Bottles/SHOW AND TELL
I saw the most amazing Rhinestone encrusted bottles..and their prices...:( I would never pay the price, but, would so love to have one! So, I decided to pull out my "Make Do" skills and go for it. The bottle on the left is simply covered in teeny tiny clear beads, seqwines (SP) around the top and all sizes of blue "stones" stuck on in a random order. The other is literally wrapped around and round with a sparkly seaqined (SP), glitter and small clear stone garland. I did wrap 2 short lenghts of rhinestones around the top and bottom. Not what I really wanted, but, I'll do for now! I also have shown my bottles at My Cottage Charm's Treasure and Trinkets. Thanks! Rhonda
