Thrift Store Bamboo Basket and Goodies

I found this bamboo basket at Goodwill the other day for 2.99, painted it white and arranged it with several larger shells, coral, starfish and white hydrangeas.  I first filled the bottom with packing peanuts for some height, and then arranged the stuff.  I think it looks light, airy, and beachy.

    All the shells mixed together is so pretty andthe hydrangeas are a great mix.

    Great finds at Goodwill! Woo hoo! Cool combination with the shells and hydrangeas...and GREAT idea for the popcorn! I need to use that idea!!

    I have found the best baskets in thrift stores because so many people seem to have a surplus. I use them a lot in my gardens to put pansies or collections of garden hand tools in. If the weather wears them out - I have only paid less than $1. This is gorgeous!!!! Jennifer jennsthreegraces stop by!!!
